It appears that the Indian team's stopover in the United States on a Caribbean tour is essential. The Indian squad will play the West Indies in a few Twenty20 Internationals at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida, just like they did last year.
The two games will be the eight-game series' intended add-on matches. They were initially envisaged in the ICC-approved Future Tours Programme (FTP). In total, there will be five Twenty20 Internationals, three ODIs, and two Tests between July and August.

According to Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN), the global media rights to broadcast Sri Lankan matches have been extended for an additional four years, till March 2027. This agreement was covered by Cricbuzz on March 5.
Starting in April 2023, the broadcaster will have the exclusive right to broadcast and live stream all senior men's matches hosted by SLC over the term of the agreement, with the exception of Sri Lanka, where it will only have paid television rights.
